Water reuse

Why reuse water?

Against Climate Change, We experience growing water stress characterized by more violent rains, aquifers with alarming levels and heat waves. The probability that we lack a lot of water, the Cape, South Africa, and soon Lima? ¿Piura? Drought in the United Kingdom, restriction of agricultural irrigation in the countryside of northern France in spring 2019. “Wasting it” well while using energy, channeling to concentrate its treatment with considerable investments, raises the following question: Will it be a luxury that we can continue to allow?

Finally, an industry or a farmer should be free to decide on how best to optimize their water and carbon footprint in order to meet obligations before the community on the use of the resource.

Between pouring it or investing it to reuse it, guaranteeing its quality at the entrance to the process: which option would you choose?

REUSE RECYCLING

Optimize the water and carbon footprint of the process in addition to reducing the pollution burden in addition to substantial economic savings and carbon credits.

LESS WATER STRESS

Recharging aquifers is the best means of making water reserves in addition to distributing them in an equitable manner, immediately available to the two largest users: Agriculture and Industry.

MITIGATE & PRESERVE

Having an organic quality irrigation water locally allows preserving soils with forestry or organic farming, reducing water stress, creating new habitats protecting Biodiversity & Human fertility.

CREATE MORE GREEN SPACES/PARKS

Improve the immediate urban environment, mitigating heat waves and quality of life. Purify air quality in general, procure a better habitat for urban fauna. As a result of all this, improve the life of the city itself and the inhabitants we serve.

RECHARGE & PRESERVE WATER BODIES

Pouring a water body, recharging lakes, dams or aquifers with clean water decontaminated by ORGASORB inside ™ enables to remove dissolved pollutants from Environment, water or effluents. We can rehabilitate rivers and lakes economically and sustainably.

What do we use it for?

It can be used for many things. In fact, for absolutely all. Technically it is feasible to close the cycle, that is, we could purify the water enough that we could drink it again. But he did not like the idea to the Legislator … until we verify that it can be of irrigation water quality.

Purposes of water reuse in Spain.
Andalusia, Catalonia and Madrid, leading industrial uses

The INE data classify the destinations of these waters in: “agriculture”, “industry”, “gardens and leisure sports areas”, “sewer cleaning and street washing”, and “other uses”. In these “other uses” can be collected such as the recharge of aquifers or the regeneration of rivers and wetlands.

How much WATER do we reuse?

In Spain, only 10.4% of the purified water is reused. And we quoted alone, because with this data it is at the head of Europe, which has an average of around 2.4%.

To increase the habit of reuse we need an “extra treatment” that few technologies can satisfy in a single stage – without energy – such as ORGASORB inside ™.

The future: Reduce, Recicle & Reuse.

We know the way and the benefits of following it, you just have to sue it, and not wait for reality to leave us no other way out. We live in a country where water is scarce, and climate change only comes to make that situation worse. The only solution, in water as in the rest of life, goes through the famous 3R: Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.

A double life would be given to a resource (which is initially a waste) and drinking water endowments would be released to have more reserves in the context of the climatic emergency in which we find ourselves. This evidence that the regenerated water has a lot of field for tour for those uses that do not need drinking water. In this way, a resource would be given a double life (which is initially a waste) and drinking water endowments would be released to have more reserves in the context of the climatic emergency in which we find ourselves.
